The new garage is super tight. Those cabinets at the back have to go.
Also, I love when a GIANT TRUCK parks across the street, makes it super easy to park.

Hey “ rb1971 i8-M6GC-Z3M-E9-FJ80-66Mopar-R90S ” how do you get the Pumpkin parked w/in the garage “on the side” w/o the door like that? Do I spy ramps of sorts that you drive on to and then some sort of cool mechanism pushes Pumpkin over? Or do you use Rollers on each wheel? Or a pair of Jacks?
I love unique engineering solutions. Enquiring minds want to know!

The house came with a parking solution by Swiss Park. They normally make lifts and things like that, but this is just a giant steel tray that slides over to one side. So you drive up on the tray, hit the button, and the car crashes into the side of the garage - I mean, slides over without any incident.
Also you can just call me John in future. :)

Very cool. Tks John (I’m Charlie :-))
If this is their site “swiss-park.com” then looks like they don’t sell a sideways sliding parking solution like that any more unless it is one of their semi-auto models? http://www.swiss-park.com/max-2m-typ-2/
Some cool vertical solutions and who doesn’t need a car turntable!

I think they do still make a sliding system. If you look at the floor of the pics they have similar trays to those that I have. I know they have installed similar systems recently in SF. My system however is somewhat older so has a lower max GVW and is slightly slower than newer systems.
